Northgate Opening This Friday

Yea! The day has come when Northgate San Diego is opening their doors.

I posted about this a few months back. I'm super excited that this store is opening up a new location just down the street from my home.

Northgate is a grocery store which has tons of fresh produce, meats, fish, and deli items. They have the most amazing bakery department with fruit topped cakes to cookies and doughnuts.

I received a advertisement in the mail yesterday and couldn't be more excited!!

Roasted Potatoes Ala Auntie Kathy

Matt's auntie Kathy gave me this recipe for yummy roasted potatoes.

Oven preheated to 400*

Roast halved Yukon Gold Potatoes cut side down in a rimmed pan with melted butter.

Salt and pepper the top of them and roast for half hour or a bit longer till cut side down is crispy golden brown.

I like to add a bit of rosemary. Enjoy!
