Fridays I have been taking a fabulous cooking class all about menu planning. I've been learning techniques, new recipes, types of foods and much, much more! The first day I was welcomed into a wonderful group. These ladies are so kind and fun to work with.
The class is held by Chef Sara Polczynski who's a great teacher, so nice and each lesson is well put together and planed perfect. I just found this Youtube video featuring her check it out:
The class consists of cooking, techniques, and of course cleaning as we go.
Then at the end of the class we all get together family style and enjoy the creations we've made.

Today's class was all about apples
We had a tasting of different types of apples
And continued with cooking with apples
And there was pleanty of yummy things to dine on later

- Butternut Squash and Apple Soup
- Celery Root and Apple Salad with Hazelnut Vinaigrette
- Pearled Barley Salad with Apples, Pomegranate Seeds and Pine Nuts
- Pork Chops with Glazed Turnips and Cider Sauce
- Red Cabbage Salad with Green Apple
- Pithiviers with Poached Apples
